BAILEY COLEMAN (14 National)![]() Bailey Coleman earned a slew of accolades while playing high school volleyball for lower state champion Wando High School in Awendaw, South Carolina. She was region player of the year as a junior and played club ball for South Carolina Juniors, who advanced to the Junior Olympic National Championships. As a senior, Coleman served as team captain and was named Low Country Player of the Year, Charleston Post and Courier Player of the Year, region player of the year, and most valuable player of the CAWS North/South All-Star Game. After high school, Coleman attended Georgia Southern University where she earned a degree in health and physical education. While there, Bailey became known for her all-out, inspirational play as a libero and outside hitter. During a four-year playing career at the NCAA Division I school, she started all four years for the Eagles and became captain her Junior and Senior years. As a sophomore, she was second on the team in kills. During her senior year, she led the team in digs with 302 on the year and 3.28 per game. For her career, Coleman posted 1,108 digs, 858 kills, and 60 service aces. After graduation, she became the Assistant Men's Club coach and the Head Women's Club Coach at Georgia Southern. Bailey is in her second year as the Assistant Coach at Oklahoma City University. She was the assistant coach for the 18's Peak team last year. |
